Brazilian Top Team (BTT) black belt, Pedro Nobre won his first international MMA belt. Last Saturday (15th), Pedro fought for the bantamweight title at the Vendetta MMA, an event organized by the International Sport Karate Association (ISKA), which was held in Vienna, Austria. He submitted the Ukrainian Taras Gryckiv with a rear naked choke in the very first round to get the belt. With this victory, Pedro Nobre now adds 28 MMA fights in his fight record, with 20 wins, five losses, a draw and a No Contest.

"Fernando Paulon and Ivan Rodrigues studied his fights and realized that he had kicked a lot in the head and the ribs. So I move forward and waited for the kick, which came immediately. When I blocked the kick, I took him down and got his back. Then, I was choke him with a RNC. I'm very happy with this result."

Pedro, a native Brazilian, who is currently living in Austria, had a great surprise in the week of the fight, which further increased his desire to win.

"This belt represents a fresh start for me, especially since I'm living in a new country. And to get even better, my coach Ivan Rodrigues and his wife Priscila prepared a surprise for me. They brought my wife and my daughter the week of the fight. With all certainty it was the motivation that was lacking to conquer this belt."

The veteran fighter, who was once considered the best flyweight in Brazil, who has fought at events such as UFC, Titan FC and the Russian show Fight Nights Global, is anxious to fight again and defend his title.

"I'm already looking forward to my next fight. I want to fight again as soon as possible," he said. "After the fight I gave an interview saying that I put the belt in the line against anyone who wants it. The only thing my opponent has to do is get on the cage and try to get him out of me," he concluded.
